Drink Culture

Attended an event at Drink Culture.

I love the deco of the place!

Here’s me~ XD

Comfy sofas! I would love to have something like that in my future home if I will ever have one. LOL.

Logo printed on the chairs. It gives a very vintage feel I think.

Here’s the bar! Super nice! If only the bar I worked at was this nice. LOL.

Another shot of the bar~

We had a demo session during the event, showcasing the how the products actually work in such a way that it’s good for our skin.

First up was on oil based MU remover. It’s good to use an oil cleanser that actually can mix with water so that it can remove the dirt/makeup efficiently and not clog our pores.  The milky one is the one which mixes well with water.

And here’s another one on facial cleansers. These 2 cleansers are mixed with sodium chloride, the closest thing to the sweat that are produced from our sweat glands. A good cleanser would be able to dissolve the sodium chloride. But if the cleanser became lumpy after mixing with the sodium chloride, it means that it can’t really cleanse our face well. Imagine that lump white stuff on our face, and the fact that it will turn hard overtime. >< Time to test out the cleansers we used at home! If it turned lumpy as seen in the picture below, best to throw it out! LOL!

Last demo was on anti-oxidants! How can it help with pigmentation? Let’s see with our own eyes! Here’s a sheet of paper stained by iodine.

Add the drop of Anti-oxidant chemical on it and see what happens,

If only they have such instant effects on the pigmentations on our skin. ><

Here’s another random pic! My drink of the day, Desert Rose, a very refreshing drink.

With Michelle! XD

Kimberly and Charlene with the pearl curtains! Rusty was supposed to be in the photo too but she was looking at Michelle’s camera instead in this pic.

Here’s all three of them gorgeous ladies!

And here’s one with Rusty and Michelle! Group photo of all 5 of us is with Michelle.~

Received a goodie bag at the end of the event which includes skincare samples, a BB cream and a cleansing oil which was used in the demo. Will be reviewing the products in a separate post! So look out for it!

I really like the environment of Drink Culture, the furnishing and atmosphere. Will be going back again! XD
