Was invited to try out the Penang Food Feast on Monday and I had a good time trying out the various Penang delicacies which I haven really tried before.
Check out the wide variety of Kuehs available!
A live Rojak station to make your very own Rojak!!
Live seafood station! BBQ Stingray is their signature! I would say this station is Zhi Char buffet style!
As per all buffets, you get the cold station with the cold prawns, mussels and salmon sashimi! I love salmon and is pretty anal about it. The salmon here is pretty nice and the mussels are fresh!
The first round of food filled with Penang delights! I like the Beef with X.O Sauce which is really tender. The pork belly is really good too.
I don’t know about you but I’m a soup person so I’m happy to find them providing two variety of good old Chinese boiled soup.
From the action station, you get to have a choice to order either Prawn Noodle, Penang Kway Teow, Laksa and Assam Laksa! Highly recommend the Kway Teow and Laksa! The Assam Laksa is one of the more authentic ones I’ve tried in Singapore.
The Durian paste is the signature dessert here and I must say it is really good. However, it might be a little over whelming to eat it alone hence I pair it up with Vanilla Ice Cream and palm seeds which is my favourite.
Here’s the price list for your reference.
I enjoyed the food here and I would recommend you to try it out if you’re a fan of Penang Delicacies.
