Event: Origins M.A.D Plus+ and Smarty Plant CC Cream

Went to a little get together with Origins Singapore Team with some other lovely bloggers this morning! We were introduced to two of their latest offerings, the Make A Difference Plus+ range which is of a new formulation after 5 years of research and also the Smarty Plant CC Cream which is the first all Natural CC Cream in the market.

We had a lovely salad brunch over the presentation and there’s a meaning to it. We were only served White tea and that’s one of the Key Ingredients which you can find in their CC Cream. We also find Watermelon and Lychee in the salad selection and these two are the two newly introduced ingredients in the M.A.D Plus+ range.

Dry and dehydrated skin are a common problem and it is found that Asian women are prone to a deficiency in Caspase-14, which is an enzyme that contributes to producing moisture. The M.A.D Plus+ range helps with the production of Caspase-14 which will work with two other components in the skin that will help production of moisture and keeps the skin hydrated.

This range also consists of the Rose of Jericho which will help prevents dehydration and to improved dry and damaged skin conditions.

I’ve tested out the texture of the M.A.D Plus+ Rejuvenating Serum and its very light and it absorbs really quickly with no sticky residue.

Then we have the Smarty Plant CC Cream, which other then correcting, prefect and protects our skin from skin damaging factors from the environment. Origins named it the Intuitive Delivery System that actually triggers skincare benefits based on environmental cues.

Here’s a swatch of the CC Cream, which looks a little orange. But not to worry, the CC cream consists of Plant Coated mineral pigments which will color correct uneven skin tones and blends into your skin. It has a smooth semi matte finish.

I’ve received the CC Cream and the Serum for trial and will be reviewing them in separate posts.

The CC cream is already available at all Origins Counters and the M.A.D Plus+ Range will be available from October 2013 onwards.
