Review: Mentholatum Deep Moist Natural

I was sent this Mentholatum Deep Moist Natural balm for review at the beginning of the month! Was really happy to receive it as I know that Mentholatum will not disappoint. Have been a user of their lip balms from way back! Now they are back with a new packaging!

Used to be in green, it’s now in this lovely shade of royal blue. One thing I’m glad that the formula is still as good.

Being different from the normal lip balms, the deep moist balm is in an oval shaped to suit the curves of the lips so that it makes application smoother. The balm itself moisten the lips and keep it soft and supple ready for lip color.

This is one good balm to have and a choice that you will not go wrong with. Filled with goodness like Hyaluronic acid, avocado oil and Shea butter, it moisturizes deeply and help to repair dry lips even. Plus it’s not scented so no worries about disliking the scent or taste.

This is a 5/5 rating item!! Easily available at most drugstores at affordable price.

Video: YSL Lip Rave

So I’ve this current beauty addiction. Am hooked onto YSL lipsticks after randomly walking into the ION boutique one day with Joey and just randomly got a nice red lipstick cause of the packaging.

Current YSL lippies count: 5 and more to come. 😛

Enjoy watching my ramble in the video. I’ve done swatches in the video too. Forgot to take photo of it. Ops. 😛

Organic Lipbalm from Mentholatum

Mentholatum released new organic Lipbalm in two flavours!

Available in Raspberry & Strawberry and Lavender & Orange. Made of 100% natural organic ingredients and certified by ECOCERT.

My favorite out of the two is definitely the Raspberry & Strawberry flavor. It have a subtle sweet scent to it which is not overpowering. This balm glides on the lips smoothly and is not sticky at all.

The Lavender & Orange flavor has a very soothing scent. It is not a scent that I would like to spot on in the day. I would actually recommend you to use it at night as a lip treatment and  the Lavender scent would also help with a better sleep. XD

Organic Lipbalm to moisturize and protect the lips. Why not? Lipbalms are a must have product to me and it’s great to have a product that is safer since we tend to eat what’s on our lips!

I rate it a 3.5/5!

Available at all major stores like Watson’s and Sasa for $7.90.

Haul: Heavy Rotation Lipsticks

Saw these Heavy Rotation Lipsticks at Watsons the other day and I got 2 of the pinkish ones. They have 4 shades in total, 2 pinkish tones, 2 peachy tones. I got them in No.1 and No.3.

Packaging is simple, not too fancy. I really like the black and gold combinations.

Swatches under normal light. No.1 on top and No.3 on the bottom.

Here’s under sunlight.

The lipsticks are very creamy  and matt but can be a lil drying for some. But it’s fine for me if I wear a lipbalm under it.

I personally prefer No.3 myself, it’s like the perfect nude shade for me, I can wear it alone without gloss. No.1 is a lil light but as long as I paired it with a pink gloss, it looks fine.

These cost $16.90 each. XD
