Artistry Hair Professional – Getting Highlights Done

So my roots have grown out quite a bit and I know it’s time that I should have a fresh coat of color for my hair at Artistry Hair. However, I’m quite bored with a single hair color and quite missed my crazy ombre hair color days. After discussing with Elein, the best option to not bleach and get some vibrancy in my hair is to highlight, with red and to go with a darker base color to have a more blended contrast.

I cannot emphasis more that hair treatment is very important to healthy and pretty hair. I love the Mucota ABC treatment that Elein have been doing for me after every dye job. As the name suggests, it’s a three step treatment to help treat and lock the nutrients in the hair, leaving it smooth and shiny.

Here’s the back view of my hair after the dye and treatment. Loving how subtle or obvious the red highlights can be depending on the lighting.

Here’s the side view. I like how just simple highlights can make my hair so much more vibrant and interesting! And this is done without any bleaching!

Check out the highlights done at the back portion of my hair, the red is more concentrated there so if I pull my hair up, it will be all red.

As you can see from the previous photo, I’ve more red highlights right at the back of my hair so it will be very obvious when I’ve my hair up in a pony tail or other similar styles. I like how just simple highlights can spice up one’s look and encourage playing with different hair styles.
