New Arm Candy: Daniel Wellington

I was never a watch person. Even if I do wear, it’s usually those cheap fashion watches from fleas. However, I realized that it’s good to actually invest in a good timepiece now that I’m a working adult. I do not want to spend too much though as I know that I will hardly wear it except to work.

I have been seeing these Daniel Wellington watches on Instagram for quite some time and I like the simple design with the colourful Nato straps. Thing is, I don’t really like the large watch face as it seems a little too casual.

And so I was shopping with my colleagues after work one day and I saw that they have the smaller watch face and with Swarovski crystals. Apparently, it’s the latest Classy collection for women.

It didn’t take me long to decide on this Classy Winchester design. The watch face is actually the same but the name varies depending on the strap. I also got the oxford strap which is not pictured. It is also a Nato strap but is red instead of pink as shown. One thing I like about DW is that the straps are interchangeable. You just have to buy one watch and many different straps and you will have many ‘different’ watches.

This is how the watch looks on my wrist besides my Pandora. I think this size fits well on my wrist. I also like that it looks classy enough for formal events.

Daniel Wellington watches are pretty affordable in my opinion. I think it’s a good choice for those who are not so into watches like me.

For those who wants to know where I bought my DW watch, I got it from City Luxe from Ion for $169 and it comes with 2 years warranty.
