Tarte Amazonian Clay 12 Hour Blush

I’ve purchased these two blush from Sephora two weekends ago when they were having 20% storewide. Tarte is pretty new in the local beauty scene but definitely no stranger to the beauty community world wide. These are retailing for SGD45 each at our local Sephora stores.

There are about 10 or 12 colors available at our local stores and I’ve got them in Natural Beauty and Exposed.

Natural Beauty is a red blush of a satin finish. It might looked a little scary off the pan but it’s very light when applied on the cheeks. Just a little and you can get a nice flush. What I like is that the color is build-able to the saturation of your preference. Pigmentation is great, I would say.

Exposed is apparently one of the popular shades in the beauty community and I can see why after owning it myself. I would describe it as a mauve peach color that goes on beautifully on all skin tones. I’ve pretty fair skin and a light application of Exposed gave me a nice healthy flush. My gf who is about two tones darker wears and it was gorgeous on her, giving her that nice bronzed look.

Here’s a slightly heavy swatch of the blushes for you to see the color payoff.

That’s me wearing Natural Beauty in daylight. I applied slightly heavier to test the pigmentation and lasting power. I wore it for 11 hours straight before removing and it only faded a little into a very natural flush. But I won’t say it’s the same case for Exposed, which faded a bit more.

Did I also mentioned that the packaging is very pretty too? You can differentiate the colors from the casing itself! Am definitely going to purchase the other colors! Overall, I love these blushes and I’m rating them a 5/5!

XOXO!
