Leather Swatch Samples from The Leather Satchel Co.

I’ve requested some leather samples from The Leather Satchel Co. and I’ve received them exactly on the 7th day after emailing them. Requested on Friday and received them on Friday! I was super excited to be receiving them so quickly as I was given a heads up that international deliveries takes 7 – 10 days or even up to 21 days.

I’ve requested for blue and pink swatches and was sent not only those but purple swatches too. So in total I’ve received 13 swatches out of the 30 colors they offered.

Why don’t I asked for a full set of swatches of what they offered you might ask? The more choices you have, the bigger the headache. Haha! The actual reason is that I’ve wanted something more unique and looking at the satchels, I just have the image of having one in a blue and pink combination. So to prevent myself to have too many choices to make, I limited myself. 😛

Check out this link for their color guide.

But I would recommend going to their FB page to get a truer swatch of the colors.

Swatches I’ve received are as followed:

  • Oxford Blue
  • Loch Blue
  • Deep Purple
  • Baby Pink
  • Baby Blue
  • Cabaret Pink
  • Bellflower Purple
  • Cockatoo Blue
  • Patent Oxblood Red
  • Patent Deep Purple
  • Dayglow Pink
  • Patent French Lilac
  • Patent Fuchsia Petal

In clockwise direction, Baby Blue, Loch Blue, Cockatoo Blue and Oxford Blue.

Cloclwise: Baby Pink, Cabaret Pink, DayGlow Pink and Patent Fuchsia Petal. The DayGlow pink is absolutely gorgeous and I think it deserve to be of a bag on its own without mixing any colors.

Clockwise: Deep Purple, Bellflower Purple, Patent Deep Purple and Patent French Lilac.

This is Patent Oxblood Red. It’s actually a lovely maroon red, a little lighter than in the photo.

The swatches are really useful! Some colors are darker than what I have expected, some brighter and some are as lovely as I’ve though. Now I’m going to have a hard time to decide on the colors for my satchel. ><

If you are really interested in ordering a satchel, I would recommend getting the leather swatch samples first to decide on the color! XD

And I’ve decided on my colors, now I need to think about the size and other add ons.
Thinking if it’s better to emboss FJF or my name on the bag. Hmmm.

Update: I’ve received my satchel! Check it out at the link below!

FJF’s Customized Satchel from The Leather Satchel Co.

Disclaimer: I’m in no way paid to do this post. I just think that ordering a customized satchel is something big for me and hence would love to record down my ‘journey’ of ordering one. XD
